Obituary of Agnes M. Hulbert

Agnes M. Hulbert Age 93 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday October 3, 2021 in Rochester, NY. She was born February 15, 1928 in Elmira Heights, NY the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary A. Yusko Ungvarsky Sr. Agnes married her husband William C. "Bill" Hulbert on August 4, 1951 and he pre-deceased her on January 8, 2014. She lived her entire life as a devout Catholic and was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY where she sang in the choir for many years. Agnes was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters Mary Ann Ungvarsky, Ann Lonczak, Joan Neilsen, Andrew J. Ungvarsky Jr., John M. Ungvarsky, David Ungvarsky, Daniel M. Ungvarsky, and Michael A. Ungvarsky, as well as brothers-in-law: Robert Hulbert and Howard Hulbert Jr., Michael McAusland, and Carroll "Bob" Brinthaupt. Agnes was a devoted wife to Bill for 62 years, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She treasured all the times spent with her family. She will be remembered for her love and excellent baking skills. Agnes is survived by her children: William C. Jr. and Leslie Hulbert; Joseph and Barbara Hulbert; Michael and Teresa Hulbert; Kathleen and Timothy Palmer; John and Terri Hulbert; 11 grandchildren: Andrew and Sarah; Mariclare (Taj), Peter (Mary), and Erin; Justin and Trevor; Colin and Katherine; Lincoln and Monroe; 2 great grandchildren: Zayden and Madison; sisters and brothers-in-law: Margaret McAusland, Theresa Brinthaupt, Betty and Richard Besley, Mary Jane and Rick Merritt, and Dowain Neilsen; sisters-in-law: Viola Hulbert and Sharon L. Ungvarsky; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday October 12, 2021 from 4-6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 10 AM. Agnes will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Bill in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
