My life from 5 to 18 was spent growing up around 13th street when I was not at my own house. Mrs. Sauer was one of the adults in my life that helped form the adult I became. My thoughts to the whole family.

Our family lived one street away from the Sauer family. Today, we shared memories of Mrs. Sauer and the “kids”. A nice Heights family that worked hard and played with all of us. She was kind and professional in her work and always remembered us in later years. Rest In Peace. JoAnn ( Marks) Serdinow.

To the Sauer family; I’m so sorry to read of the passing of Dottie. We remember the good times we had with her and the rest of you on our visits on Chapman Pl and W 13th St. My one favorite memory was when Hurricane Hazel blew through and Dottie had our family up to her house because it was a bigger home! That was so kind of her. My sympathy to all of you.
