Jeanne and Family
We were saddened to read of John’s passing. We have known and enjoyed John’s company for many years and in many capacities. I worked with and for John at Corning and shared several of John’s interests. During our frequent lunchtime runs we talked about woodworking projects, boating adventures, upcoming road races and occasionally work projects.
He was the ultimate coach and mentor and provided a wealth of information and learning opportunities to me and those around him.
Our condolences go out to you and your extended family. I will long remember John and all that he did for me.

Dear Jeanne and Family,
We are sorry to hear of John’s passing. John was a kind man with much knowledge and love to share. He was a great mentor and friend to us. His spirit will always be with us when we are sailing ‘Amazing Grace’. We will miss his smile, his advise, and his sense of humor!
Fondly,
Nancy and Bob Sisbarro

I really didn’t know John very well. But any time I saw him I tried to have a conversation with him. The last story he told me was about a trailer he found along the side of a road one day when he was out for a run. Noticing it was in decent shape, he dragged it a little farther off the road for safekeeping - and to make it a little harder for the next guy to spot. He watched the site for a few days to see if the owner came back to claim it. After that? Finder’s keepers. He took it home, fixed it up, and used it.
I always enjoyed his company. He always made me smile, and I can only hope I did the same for him. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathies to his family.

Jeanne & Family:
So sorry to hear of the loss of John. He was a true "fixture" in the marina and set a high standard for all of us to follow. I always enjoyed listening to his stories. The dock is a bit quieter now without his laughter and darker without his smile. Prayers and condolences to you and your family. Rest In Peace, John!
