Obituary of Beatrice Mae Seymour

BEATRICE MAE BRUCKLACHER SEYMOUR Age 82 of Horseheads , NY lost her courageous fight with cancer on Wednesday February 26, 2014. She was born July 28, 1931 in Balls Mills, PA to John E. and Mabel Schon Brucklacker. Bea was raised from an infant by Trevett and Mary Dunkleberger of Roseville, PA. Bea is survived by her children Martin Seymour (Sherry Richards), John Seymour, Ann (Walter) Lant, Jean Seymour, Nancy (Rick) Stratton of Horseheads, NY, Gary and Susan Seymour of Valatie, NY, Keith Seymour (Marge Seamon) of Moreland, NY and Brenda (John) Rockwell of Reading Center, NY. Grandchildren Laura and Karyn Seymour, Alicia Janke, Sarah Preston, Thomas Rockwell, Edmond Seamon, Tonya Schloupt, Beth, Jason and Corey Richards. Great Grandchildren Seth Janke, Breyden Seamon, Matthew and Kyle Richards, Aundrea and Alexus Dupree, Hannah and Mariah Schloupt. Brothers Charles, Edward and Kenneth Brucklacher all of Liberty, PA. Sisters Faye Patterson of Canton, PA and Leona Robson of Mansfield, PA. She was pre-deceased by her husband William T. Seymour in 1992, her brothers Harris (Hank) and Ermin (Short) Dunkleberger, sister-in-law Phyllis Parker and brother-in-law Murray (Bud) Seymour. Her passion was for her family and she was devoted to the dairy farm that she and Bill worked so many years to build. Bea enjoyed spending time at her place in Florida, gardening and reading. She was a member of the Catherine Mothers Club, Town of Veteran Historical Society, Cayuta Free Church, Farm Bureau and was a 4-H mom to her 8 children. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY ON SUNDAY MARCH 2, 2014 from 11 AM-2:30PM. Bea's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2:30PM with the Pastor Justin Beck Officiating. Internment in Highland Cemetery in Odessa, NY in the spring at the convenience of the family. The family will furnish flowers.
