Obituary of Frank E. Amacher

Frank E. Amacher age 88 of Horseheads, NY formerly of Tunkhannock , PA passed away on Thursday August 18, 2022. He was born November 11,1933 in Avery , PA the son of the late Fred and Bertha LeBar Amacher. Frank was a Korean War Veteran serving his country with The U.S. Army. He married his wife, Pearl E. Morrison Amacher on June 2, 1956 and they recently celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary. Frank was a retired employee of Hilliard Corporation in Elmira, NY . He enjoyed antique car shows and was a member of the snowmobile club, Soaring Polka Dancers and Soaring Twirlers. In addition to his parents, Frank was pre-deceased by his sister Ricky and his brother Norman. Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years Pearl Morrison Amacher ; daughter: Kathy Amacher of Elmira,NY ; son: Frank Amacher Jr. of Violet Springs, Florida ; granddaughter: Jessica (Brian) Kelly ; grandson: Andrew Amacher ; great granddaughter Kelly Kennedy ; sisters : Carol Button of PA and Julie O'Brien of Waverly, NY ; several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Thursday August 25, 2022 from 2-4 PM. Frank's Gravesite services will be held on Friday August 26, 2022 at 1 PM at Sunnyside Cemetery in Tunkhannock, PA where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Amacher.
