Obituary of Calvin Scott Buchanan

Calvin Scott Buchanan age 65 of Lowman , NY passed away on Monday August 22,2022 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born December 11, 1956 in Elmira, NY the son of the late James and Ethel Crain Buchanan. Calvin married his wife Catherine "Cathy" Andrysick. He was a heavy equipment operator for Chemung County Solid Waste in Lowman, NY. Calvin was a member of The Elmira Beagle Club , The White Eagles Club , VFW, Euchre Club , and The Chemung County Rod & Gun Club. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Calvin is survived by his wife Catherine "Cathy" Buchanan ; sons and daughters-in-law: Scott and Nicole Buchanan and Michael and Kim Buchanan ; daughter and son-in-law : Mellisa and Bradley Sindoni ; grandchildren: Makayla , Hailey , Tanner , Hunter , Rylee, Madison , Makenzie , and Mariah ; brother ; Ralph Buchanan ; sisters : Sherry Good , Debbie Solomon , Sue Taylor, and Becky Crumley ; several nieces, nephews ,, cousins, and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of Calvin's Life will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022 at 4 PM at The White Eagles Club 364 Millard Street Elmira, NY.
