Obituary of Irma L. Bastion

Irma L. Bastion age 80 of Elmira, NY passed away on Sunday September 25, 2022. Irma was born October 14, 1941 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Chapman Greek. She was a School Crossing Guard for the Elmira City School District for many years. She enjoyed bowling and doing jigsaw puzzles. In addition to her parents, Irma was pre-deceased by her sons Wiliam Beechum and Robert Kramer and her sisters Roberta Reed and Loretta Strothers. Irma is survived by her companion of over 28 years Melvin Winton; her children: Timothy & Sue Kramer of Horseheads, NY, Lori & Thomas Taylor of Thomasville, NC, Wayne Beechum of Horseheads, NY, Barbie & Greg Butts of Elmira Heights, NY, Penny Kent of Horseheads, NY, and Sue (Mrs. Robert) Kramer of Horseheads, NY; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Friday September 30, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Irma's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 1 PM. Irma will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Odessa, NY.
