Obituary of Carol L. Cowan

Carol L. Cowan Age 77 of Elmira Heights, NY passed away of Sunday October 9, 2022. Carol was born March 4,1945 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Samuel B. and Leva J. Hatton Cowan. She was a retired machinist at Thomas & Betts (LRC) in Horseheads, NY. In addition to her parents, Carol was pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters: Russell Cowan, Samuel L. Cowan, Roy S. Cowan, Patricia Tuttle, Marjorie (Mrs. Melvin) Hayes , Alice (Mrs. Bernie) Hornbeck , Wesley Cowan, Thelma Frost, and her long-time companion Richard J. Jenkins on September 6, 2022. Carol is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Robin Lynne Hoyt and Jeff Proctor of Elmira, NY ; granddaughter: Brittany Barone & Sean Loyd of Elmira, NY; great grandson Jahvier Dyck ; great granddaughter : Kaliyah Loyd ; brothers and sisters-in-law Benjamin C. & Marion Cowan of Stuart, Florida and Theodore & Carol Wilcox ; sister-in-law: Sarah Cowan of Elmira, NY ; nieces Betty Nichols, Mary Jane Reynolds, Carol Webster, Barb & Gary Sapp ; nephew Thomas Cowan of Florida; many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at Havana Glen on Saturday June 10, 2023. Arrangements are entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY.
