Lula Belle Smith age 85 of Elmira, NY passed away on Tuesday November 8,2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Lula was born February 15, 1937 in Canton, PA the daughter of the late Roy and Edith Brown Walburn. She married her husband Raymond L. Smith and he pre-deceased her in 1969. Lula Belle was also pre-deceased by her son Gary Louis Smith on October 12, 2015 and by her daughters Patricia Rose Smith and Debra Morofoff as well as her brothers and sisters. Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons: Jeffrey S. Smith and Steven Smith both of Elmira, NY; daughters: Linda (Albert) DeRenzo of Elmira, NY ; Kathleen (Dave) Hulbert of Penn Yan, NY ; Sharon ( Daniel) Walker of Elmira, NY several grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited attend Mrs. Smith's Funeral Services on Sunday November 13, 2022 at 2 PM at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS,NY. The Rev. Justin Coffin will officiate. Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest with her husband Raymond in Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, NY.
