Darla A. (Kent) Conklin age 76 of Elmira, NY passed away on Monday November 28, 2022. Darla was born November 5 , 1946 in Montour Falls, NY the son of the late Charles W. Kent and Dorothy M. Kimble Kent. She was also pe-deceased by her daughters Gloria and Darla Jean and her brother Keith Kent. Darla is survived by her daughters: Brenda and Pamela; sons: Charles and John ; brothers Wade , Larry, and Dean Kent ; sister: Dawn Kent ; her special family with whom she lived Mary Hoyles , Bill Taft , Jamie Hoyles , and her loving companion Kenneth Melvin ; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at Lighthouse Baptist Church 209 Gardner Road in Horseheads, NY on Saturday December 3, 2022 from 1-2 PM. Darla's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with Pastor Richard Hack officiating.
