Obituary of Pamela A. McKaig

Pamela A. (Cartarius) McKaig age 69 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday December 20,2022 after a brief battle with cancer. Pamela was born on March 11, 1953 in Elmira, NY the daughter of Ludwig Rudolph Cartarius and Rose L. McCue Cartarius. She was pre-deceased by her mother Rose L. Cartarius on July 19,2005. Pamela leaves behind her father Ludwig R. Cartarius of Elmira, NY ; her beloved daughter and son-in-law: Sheena and Kyle Ector of Ovid, NY; her cherished grandsons : Brantley Ector and Corbin Ector ; sisters and brothers-in-law : Laurie and Robert Macri of Hector, NY , Patricia Cartarius of Rochester , NY , and Ann and Mark Duncan of Carrollton, GA ; loving nephews and niece: Devin Macri-Lawton , Chad Macri, Max Duncan , and Sam Duncan; several cousins and many caring friends. Pamela retired from the dental office of Dr. James Woodard where she worked for over 30 years. In her retirement she spent time with her family and watching her grandsons. A special thanks to those who cared for Pamela and helped our family greatly at the end of her life. A memorial gathering to honor Pamela will take place at a later date.
