Obituary of Belle G. Cullings

Florence Belle (Belle) Goodfellow Cullings, 86, passed peacefully on December 19, 2022. Belle was the oldest daughter born to Coburn and Dorothy Goodfellow on June 12, 1936. Belle graduated from Potsdam College with a major in Music Education in May 1958. Belle married her Golden Knight college sweetheart Robert (Bob) E. Cullings a Clarkson College graduate on September 12, 1959. They enjoyed over 50 years of marriage together. Belle is survived by her sisters: Nancy Bishop and Ann Tierney of Chittenango, NY. Belle and Bob have 4 children: Amy Widener (Paul), Meg Cullings, Gregg Cullings (Sonja), and Betsy Hauptman (Rusty); 8 grandchildren: Peter (Kyra) Moreno, Jessica Moreno, Daniel Moreno, Madelynn Cullings, Brynn Cullings, Tarynn Cullings, Whitney Polovick (Robby), and Karl Hauptman (Lori) all of whom miss her dearly. Belle was pre-deceased by her husband Bob in 2010. Belle cherished family more than anything. Belle enjoyed arts & crafts, gardening, baking, the beach, bible study, crosswords, sudoku puzzles, singing hymns, and was an avid button collector. She liked keeping up with friends & family. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday April 30, 2023 at Twin Tiers Evangelical Presbyterian Church 8 Canal Street Big Flats, NY. Donations may be made in Belle's name to Twin Tiers Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 8 Canal Street, Big Flats, NY 14814 or a charity of your choice.
