Obituary of Virginia Lee Hozempa

Virginia Lee Hammett Hozempa Age 98 of Horseheads, NY passed away on February 8, 2023 at Appleridge Senior Living in Horseheads, NY. She is survived by her son Bryant (Barbara) Hozempa of Horseheads, NY ; grandchildren: Michael Jon (Glenda) Miller of Honduras, Chad Jason (Jennifer) Miller of Elmira, NY, Samuel Bryant Hozempa of Painted Post, NY, Stefanie Anne (Zachary) Hoeh of San Martino de Campagna, Italy, and Alexander David Hozempa of Elmira, NY. Also surviving are great grandchildren Abigail Louise Miller, Jacob Edmund Miller, Daniel Jon Miller, Sarah Elizabeth Miller, Isaac Robert Miller, Zane Tacoma Hoeh, Kyra Grace Hoeh and Sophia Eve Hoeh; sister-in-law Lillian Hozempa, Plymouth, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Craig on November 6, 1946, her husband Edmund on December 20, 2000 and her daughter Pamela Ann Miller on December 26, 2013. Virginia was a loving wife , mother, and grandmother. She was a retired employee of Facet Enterprises in Elmira Heights, NY. Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church, 1034 West Broad Street, Horseheads, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home at 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. Her funeral service will take place at the Lynch Funeral Home directly after calling hours with Rev. Jeff McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
