Randy J. Watson age 64 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday March 24, 2023 at The Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Randy was born November 17, 1958 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Frederick G. and Kay Birdsall Watson . He was a Master Machinist at Mirion Technologies in Horseheads, NY. Randy had worked at Shepard Niles Crane and Hoist and Schweizer Aircraft previously. Randy loved hunting , fishing and cutting wood and the outdoors. Randy is survived by daughter Becky Watson; son : Joshua Watson; daughter-in-law: Jessica Watson and three grandchildren Kaylee, Jared , and Hunter Watson ; brother and sister-in-law : Marty and Dawn Watson of Breesport, NY ; sister and brother-in-law: Shannon and Vincent Turner of Alpine, NY; several nieces, nephews , cousins and a host of caring friends. It was Randy's wish that there be no calling hours or services at this time. He will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Elmira, NY.
