Obituary of Darrell E. Tenny

Darrell E. Tenny Sr. age 86 of Brunswick, Ohio formerly of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday April 2, 2023. Darrell was born June 18, 19936 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Clinton D. and Alice Wood Tenny. In addition to his parents, Darrell was pre-deceased by his daughter Denine E. Tenny who passed away on January 29, 2008 and his brothers and sisters Arnold Tenny, Janice and Harry Hamilton, Clinton D. Tenny, Jimmy Tenny, and Doris A. Tenny. He was a retired employee of Corning Inc. in Corning, NY . Darrell loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Darrell is survived by his loving and devoted wife Dorothy J. West Tenny ; his children: William Tenny, Sue and Ernie Bowes, Darrell and Teddie Tenny, Daniel and Karen Tenny, and David and Yolanda Tenny; 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law: Edna and Russell Colony of Elmira, NY; sister-in-law: Vickie (Mrs. Jimmy) Tenny; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Saturday April 8 , 2023 from 1 to 3 PM . Darrell's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 PM. The Rev Joseph Chamberlain will officiate.
