Obituary of Donald Martin Brennan

Donald Martin Brennan age 70 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday May 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born in Barton , NY the son of the late Martin Brennan and Winifred Derrig Brennan. He worked at Anchor Glass in Elmira Heights, NY for 40 years serving as Union President for 15 years. He married his wife, Julie Berry Brennan, on August 18, 1979 and they would have celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary on August 18, 2023. Don loved coaching Softball for many years. Don was pre-deceased by his parents, his daughter Jamie Hulslander Knowles , and by his brother John Brennan. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Don is survived by his loving and devoted wife Julie ; his sons: Jason Hulslander and Matthew Brennan ; daughters and sons-in-law: Kelly and Mike Sherwood and Maureen and Steve Rosati; eleven grandchildren ; brothers: Lawrence Brennan and Richard Brennan ; sisters: Susan Otting , Karen Brennan, and MaryTherese Collins; several nieces, nephews , cousins and a host of caring friends. It was Don's wish that there be no calling hours or services at this time . "Float like a Butterfly! Sting like a Bee!"
