I will miss Mr Sullivan terribly. Growing up I spent countless days and nights at the Sullivan house being treated like family. Later Mr Sullivan took a young firefighter inside his first fire as interior. Still remember him telling me to grab an air pack and pull a line we're going in. I was so excited, nervous, and pumped with adrenaline but he backed me up and we went in and put the fire out. He was a mentor to so many whether it be firefighting, EMS or coaching kids in sports. His calm demeanor and patients made him a great teacher/mentor. I'll also miss the times on the golf course with dad and Mr Sullivan. I remember the last time I got to play with Mr Sullivan. His memory was starting to slip, his normally strait down the middle drive was off, but he still smiled and laughed the whole way around. I love you Mr Sullivan and I'll never forget that smile. RIP we'll take it from here.

Mrs. Sullivan and Family,
Very sorry to hear about Mr. Sullivan’s passing. I cut his hair at Elcor. I didn’t do it like his Brother but it was a pleasure for me. Our prayers are with you and your family. God Bless you all.

Marty and I took a bus ride to Syracuse in September of 1965.
From there it was a train ride to Great Lakes, Illinois for our 8 or so weeks of Navy Boot Camp.
The Navy sent us in different directions after Great Lakes. Unfortunately life being what it is we lost touch with each other. Much to my chagrin.
I would see him from time to time out and about over the years. Every time it was a joyous occasion for me and I hope for him.
The obituary captured who he was perfectly. He was one of the finest gentleman I have ever met.
My condolences to the entire family and to Marty, Rest in Peace my friend.

Got to know Marty years ago when I worked at Hardinge and he would come in and fix or update hydraulic stuff for us. Really good guy and always smiling. God bless his family and god bless you Marty.

My condolences to the Sullivan family. I worked with Marty at Ralph W. Earl Company for many years, even enjoyed a few golf trips to Myrtle Beach with him. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met - professionally and personally. He was a big part of our company and his legacy will live on forever. Rest in Peace my friend. David
