Obituary of Lillian M. Reynolds

Lillian M. Reynolds age 96 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Monday July 24,2023 . She was born in Horseheads, NY on December 7, 1926 the daughter of the late George and Lorena Southard Hodge . Lillian worked at Hill Department Store in Horseheads, NY (later Ames Department Store) where she was affectionately known as "Manager Reynolds". She retired at age 78. Lillian was pre-deceased by her husband Donald W. Reynolds on October 23, 1981. She was also pre-deceased by her son "Skip" ; her daughter Sharilyn D. Reynolds on April 12, 2012; her grandsons Bradley W. Taylor on April 12, 2003, Jeremy S. Taylor on June 17, 2019, and Zachary P. Hackett on July 6, 2023; her brothers Harry L. Hodge and George Hodge ; her sisters Liza Pastrick , Wilma Coakley, and Madeline "Tiny" Hetrick. Lillian was the family matriarch and loved her family and friends. Lillian is survived by her children: Jim and Mary Reynolds of Archdale, NC , Jackie and Bob Yacubic of Horseheads, NY , Merilee Rockwell of Elmira, NY , Scott Reynolds of Elmira, NY, and Michelle and Resa Reynolds of Kings Ferry , NY ; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Monday July 31, 2023 from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Lillian's Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 12 Noon . Lillian will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Donald in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
