Obituary of Michael Orlando Couch

Michael Orlando Couch age 80 of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday August 11, 2023. He was born May 17, 1943 in Odessa , NY the son of the late William L. Couch and Christina M. Ely Couch. Michael was a Vietnam War Veteran serving his country with The US ARMY and a former member of American Legion Post # 154 in Elmira Heights, NY. He was a retired pattern maker at Ajax Foundries in Athens, PA . Michael was pre-deceased by his wife Joy E. Smith Couch on June 28, 2016 and by his grandson Dylan J. Couch on April 13, 2020. He loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them. Michael is survived by his son Keith M. Couch of Florida ; his daughter : Michelle K. Couch of Elmira , NY and his granddaughter Kytrina B. Couch of Elmira, NY ; grandchildren: Kate, Tristan, Laikyn, and Cedryk Couch ; great grandson Evan ; brother and sister-in-law: William and Mary Jo Couch of Trumansburg, NY ; several nieces, nephews , cousins , and many extended family members and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael's Gravesite Services on Friday September 22, 2023 at 11 AM where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Couch.
