Theresa L. Brinthaupt Age 87 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at home with loved ones sending her to Heaven. She was born on May 24, 1936 at home on Veteran Hill in Horseheads NY the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary A. Yusko Ungvarsky Sr. Theresa married the love of her life Carrol R. "Bob" Brinthaupt who she met while working at Moore Business Forms in Elmira NY. She married Bob on July 16,1955 and he pre-deceased her on October 28, 1993. Theresa lived 30 years without her beloved Bob and she is now reunited with him and their son Jim who predeceased her in 2013. She lived her entire life as a devout Catholic and was a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. Theresa was also pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters Mary Ann Ungvarsky, Ann Lonczak, Joan Nielsen, Agnes Hulbert, Andrew J. Ungvarsky Jr., John M. Ungvarsky, David Ungvarsky, Daniel M. Ungvarsky, and Michael A. Ungvarsky, as well as several sisters- in- laws and brothers- in -laws. Theresa was also pre-deceased by two daughters-in-laws Diane Brinthaupt and Timberly Brinthaupt. Theresa was a devoted wife to Bob for 38 years, beloved mother of ten children, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She treasured all the times spent with her family. She will be remembered for her love and excellent baking skills especially Easter foods, pepperoni and nut rolls and her famous cinnamon rolls. She loved reading, playing board games and camping with her family. Theresa is survived by her children: Bob (Beth) Brinthaupt,Cathy (Terry) Morroni,Tom (Ginny) Brinthaupt, Patti (Doug) Farwell, Steve Brinthaupt, Sandy (Nick) Burvee, Carolyn Farrier, Mary (Mark) Sorg, and Janet (Pat) O'Neil; her beloved grandchildren John, Laura, Rob, Beth, Jessie, Hannah, Katie, Nick, Erica, Danny, Alyssa, Mindy, Sabrina, Shannon and Jenn and 22 great grandchildren. Theresa is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law: Margaret McAusland, Betty and Richard Besley, Mary Jane and Rick Merritt, and Dowain Nielsen; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at 10 AM.
