Phillip G. Naylor, 80, of Horseheads, NY passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born in Corning, NY on April 19, 1943 to the late Audrey (Call) Naylor. He was step-son to the late Claude Beebe. Phil was also pre-deceased by sister, Carolyn Naylor Butler. Phil was a graduate of Elkland, PA High School and attended Mansfield University. He joined the US Air Force in 1962, was a Vietnam Veteran, as well as serving in Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines. He retired after 28 years of service with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, earning many medals for his service. After retirement he worked 5 years for the US Post Office out of Horseheads, then later drove delivery vehicles for Fuji Film. He is survived by wife, Dianne, children, Roy (Beverly) Naylor, daughter, Narissa (Joe) Malone, step-children, Richard (Jeana) Hoyt, and David Hoyt; grandchildren, Ryan Naylor, step grandchildren, David Hunt, Jonathan Hoyt, Riley Hoyt, Jackson Hoyt, Cara Hoyt and Charles Hoyt; step great grandson, Braden Hunt. Also survived by nieces, Sherry (Jim) Wulforst, Nancy (Jason) Tubbs, and Lisa (Blaine) Miller, with seven great nieces and nephews and six great great nieces and nephews. Phil and Dianne took great pleasure in traveling the US National Parks in their RV and later renting places in Florida for 3 months each year. He was a member of Post 442 American Legion in Horseheads. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Thursday January 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with committal service and Military honors at the conclusion of calling hours. Phil will be laid to rest in Mills, PA Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
