I remember your mom, Mre Pesesky, as a nursing instructor @ St. Joseph's. I remember her smile. Seems that I remember too that she was my girl scout leader when I was even younger still. May she RIP after an exemplary life.
Carol Ersley, Class of 1980.

Bernice was such a caring lady, serving with the Ladies of Charity for so many years. I remember being at her home and admiring the rooster decorations in her kitchen. I will keep her and her family in my prayers. Mary Smith, Rochester NY

No one ever saw Bernice without her smile. We knew Bernice from the Altar and Rosary at St. Charles where she always worked very long hours to serve others. I knew several Pesesky's but never had heard that Bernice served in the military. She was one of the totally wonderful (in all ways)... people in our lives. There is nothing that she did that wasn't 100%. Certainly she is with God, His angels and saints. Just seeing her photo in this obituary makes us smile. The family can rest knowing that they learned from her how to live the life of a saint. Any of us who knew her were truly blessed.

What a tribute this lady was to the Nursing profession!
She was one of my favorite instructors! It was a privilege to have known her.
By her obituary it sounds like she had that uncanny perseverance to “Re-invent” herself throughout her life!
What a blessing to have had her for so long in your lives!
God Bless!
