Obituary of Patricia A. Wade

Patricia A. Wade age 84 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Friday March 22, 2024. Pat was born August 17, 1939 in San Lorenzo, CA the daughter of the late Leyder and Dorothy Miller Laudenslager. She married her husband, Garth C. "Bucky" Wade, on August 15, 1959 and he pre-deceased her on August 27, 2020. Pat was also pre-deceased by her son Timothy G. Wade in 1978 , brother and sister-in-law Walter and Joanne Laudenslager, brother-in-law Timothy J. Wade in 1945 , and sister-in-law Nancy Muddle. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Horseheads. Pat loved her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with them. Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Sherry Schaefer and Kevin Keys of Penfield, NY ; sons and daughters-in-law: Garth C. and Jennifer Wade of Olympia, WA and Michael S. and Wan Wade of Charlotte, NC ; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren ; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bob and Sue Hendrickson of Newton, NH and Larry and Anne Hendrickson of Carlisle, PA ; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law : Jan Muddle of Lincolnton, NC , Carol and Arnie True of Port Orange, Florida , and Tom and Mary Wade of Montour Falls, NY ; several nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gravesite Service for Patricia on Thursday March 28, 2024 at 12 Noon at Maple Grove Cemetery 715 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY . The Rev. Aaron Frank will officiate. Pat will be laid to rest with her beloved husband and son following her services.
