Obituary of Molly Kathleen Marks

Molly Kathleen Marks was born on March 8,2024 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on March 30,2024 in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Molly is survived by her mother Miranda Keefe Marks , her father Patrick Marks, her big sister Calla Marks as well as her loving golden retriever Macey. She is also survived by her "Nana" Martha Danaher Marks , her "Papa" Joseph Keefe and her namesake, her "Gramma" Kathleen (Kasey) Keefe. Molly was lovingly welcomed in heaven by her "Grampy" James Marks. Good Golly, Miss Molly! In the three weeks that Molly was here, she proved herself to be the strongest person her parents had ever met. Molly was described by her nurses as a fighter and was known to them for her feisty attitude. Molly's time with us may have been brief, but has left a lasting imprint on those who were lucky enough to meet her. Molly was born weighing 1 lb. 11.8 oz and used every ounce to her advantage as she made herself comfortable despite her nurses best efforts to keep her in a position. Our girl was born with a full head of dark hair like her sister, and as her dad pointed out she had "Marks toes" . She was small but mighty and we will always cherish our time together. To our Mighty Molly, we love you and what an honor it was to be chosen as your parents. While our hearts are broken now we take comfort in knowing that you are at peace. Your legacy will carry on through our family. We will carry you in our hearts forever. A special thank you to the OB/GYN, Maternity, and NICU staff at Arnot Ogden as well as our families for all of their help and support during this time.
