Aunt Mildred and Uncle Freddie were both special to me!
They were the closest things to parents in that each were siblings to my mom and dad.
There are so many memories I have of them, from family get togethers at the Scaife grandparents, summers in “the country”, the car dealer in Elmira, the sewing machine shop in Elmira, stock car racing at Chemung, and all the cousins graduations and weddings.
I was very close to Aunt Mildred, and talked with her regularly. We could talk about so much history.
I miss her already!
