As her niece, I had many joyful times in my Aunt Lou's company. At her country home in Horseheads, my cousins Sue, Janet, Roberta, my brother Drew and I played outside for hours exploring and pretending the way only children can do. Our time spent outside, observing nature was an education onto itself. Aunt Lou was always welcoming, loving and determined to teach her "city" niece some "country" know how. I think of her often and fondly and enjoy reminiscing about the many great times spent we spent together over the years.
