Obituary of Thomas R. Perrott

Thomas Robert Perrott age 90 of Horseheads, NY passed away into the arms of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ on Friday September 27, 2024. He was pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Alpha Whybrew Perrott and by his daughter Phyllis May Kephart. Thomas is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 70 years Mary Catherine (Mary Kay) Berninger Perrott; his daughters and sons-in-law: Colleen (Jack) Condrey of Charleston , SC and Suzanne (David) Woughter of Cold Spring KY; sons and daughters-in-law : Pastor David (Wendy) Perrott of Union, Iowa and Pastor Roger ( Nola) Perrott of Hong Kong, China ; son-in-law: William Kephart of Charlotte, NC ; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is also survived b his sister Nancy Wogan of Virginia and two nieces Elizabeth (Richard) Leland of Burke , VA and Madeline (Tommy) McNary of Georgetown , PA. Tom was born October 23, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late Thomas and Alpha Whybrew Perrott. He grew up in Beaver Falls, PA and graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1951 and received his Bachelor's Degree from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in 1955. He married his wife Mary Catherine Berninger Perrott on June 12, 1954 and they recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on June 12, 2024. He spent his career in Industrial Engineering with United States Steel Corporation. Prior to his retirement, Tom was the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering with USS Fabrication in Elmira Heights, NY , a division of US Steel Corporation. Tom was a member of The First Baptist Church of Horseheads, NY . He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf. He liked watching his favorite teams , the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 2, 2024 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at The First Baptist Church 2293 Grand Central Avenue Horseheads, NY . Tom's Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 12 Noon with his son Pastor David Perrott officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances would be appreciated by the family to either Central Missionary Clearinghouse P.O.
