Obituary of Eugene M. Pfaff

PFAFF, EUGENE M. "GENE" Age 60 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday November 12, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eugene was born on August 8, 1957 the son of Gerson L. and Dorothy Gail Wiseman Pfaff in Elmira, NY. Gene was pre-deceased by his mother Dorothy on July 21, 1998. He was also pre-deceased by his beloved grandmother Babette Wunderlich Pfaff in 1990. Gene is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Justin and Beckie Pfaff of Horseheads, NY; his father Gerson L. "Gary" Pfaff of Horseheads, NY step-son Jaime Burgess of Horseheads, NY ; sister and brother-in-law: Susan "Susie" and John Alexander of Elmira, NY; nephews: Jason and Kristi Alexander; Derrick and Trish Alexander and their children: Adreanna and Emmarie Alexander; Aunt : Ann (Mrs. Joseph) Barcomb of Horseheads , NY ; several cousins and family friend Delores "Dee" Brown. Gene was a former Employee of W & W Cabinet Shop in Charleston, S. C. Eugene took great pleasure in his younger years spending time on the family's yacht "Sugene" and was a former member of the Watkins Glen Yacht Club. Gene was also a member of The Horseheads Elks Lodge # 2297. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Tuesday November 14 from 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday November 15 , 2017 at 10 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY . Interment in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
